If you’re scouting around for an additional Wiimote for your Wii, then i would suggest choosing Xcross Remote, it is quite a bit cheaper than Nintendo’s Wii Remote and you’ll unlikely know the difference when gaming with your Nintendo wii console. Furthermore a free bonus a dark silicon cover is provided. By having larger D-Pad along with rubberized grip the Xcross Remote is presenting really good control and I recommend it to anybody looking for additional Wii Remotes for the Wii.

People in america can obtain it from amazon.com for $29.95

Yesterday Apple CEO and tech visionary Steve Jobs unveiled Apple's latest creation: the iPad. The hype is building already, and no doubt hundreds of thousands will pre-order the Apple iPad. Question is: will anyone already using an iPhone and/or MacBook find anything new in the iPad?
iPad vs iPhone vs MacBook
I figured out long before the iPad that Apple are way ahead of the technology game. Thus, I am a MacBook and iPhone user. And the two work seamlessly together. However, when I start up my MacBook I find myself longing for the smooth interface of the iPhone. And when I'm away from the MacBook I become aware of the limits of the ultra-portable iPhone. Enter iPad.
The Apple iPad is designed to sit in the middle of the smartphone and laptop. With a bigger screen and more processing power than the iPhone, yet still providing users with a similar sleek UI, is the iPad the answer to my prayers?
Apple iPad - Specifications
• 9.7″ (diagonal) display in 1024×768
• 16, 32 and 64 GB memory options
• 10 hours active battery life
• 1 GHz processor
• Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G models
So, the iPad does everything we'd expect it to. All the extras one would expect in the iPad are present: multi-touch, full syncing capability with OSX and Windows, camera and Mail support for all common filetypes.
So what's the iPad missing?
Apple iPad - what doesn't it do?
The glaringly obvious one here is that the iPad doesn't make phone calls, even on the iPad 3G model. Nor will the iPad send or receive text messages in any conventional sense. Granted, holding an iPad to one's face would take the user back to the days of the 1990's Nokia, but no-one is afraid of hands-free in 2010 and Apple provide a great kit with the iPhone. No user would have a problem using Skype and Internet-based SMS services on the iPad, though these are somewhat sluggish by comparison to the iPhone's slick notifications.
And any iPad user looking to browse with the all-powerful Firefox, mod their desktop with BumpTop or view the real YouTube will, it seems, be left wanting. The iPad is, to all intents and purposes, a super-sized iPod Touch. But how much does the iPad cost?
Apple iPad - Pricing
As mentioned in the spec, the iPad comes in three different memory capacity options, all of which are available with Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + 3G connectivity. 3G data plans for the iPad will be sold seperately.
iPad 16GB - Wi-Fi: $499, Wi-Fi + 3G: $629
iPad 32GB - Wi-Fi: $599, Wi-Fi + 3G: $729
iPad 64GB - Wi-Fi: $699, Wi-Fi + 3G: $829
Apple iPad - Big iPhone or Little Macbook?
Closer to the former, it seems. While the iPad does feature new apps built from the ground up, all of these are featured in various guises across Apple's other platforms. If the potential iPad user doesn't have an iPhone and is content with a more basic communication device, the iPad might fill in the gap between that and their laptop. Or, indeed, if one is using a desktop computer and wants mobile functionality, the iPad is a sure consideration. If, on the other hand, you're like me and already taking full advantage of the Apple revolution, then I'd say hold on to your wages.

I sold my gameboy quite a while ago, but I still get nostalgic every once in a while and have the urge to play some Pokemon. I don't know if that's completely normal, but anyways, it's true. The problem is, I don't have the kind of money to where I could just go out and buy a new gameboy or the time to find somewhere that's selling the games I want. Nor do I have the patience or wit to just keep my gameboy instead of selling it whenever I get bored.
So I figured that the best solution to my problem would be to figure out how to play gameboy games on my computer. It really isn't very hard at all either, it just requires that you search up a few things on google, and download a few programs to your computer. Gameboy games run fast… at least alot faster than games like warcraft run on my crappy laptop. That's besides the point though, now I'll get to telling you how to play gameboy games on your computer.
Step 1: Do a google search for a program called “Visual Boy Advance” which is an emulator (a program used to play game boy roms on your computer). There are other emulators that work well too, but “Visual Boy Advance” is the one that I've been using.
Step 2: Install the program on your computer. Which shouldn't be too complicated, you might not even need to install it at all, I can't remember exactly :D.
Step 3: The fun part, is finding somewhere to download the gameboy games that you want to play. Just do a google search for “pokemon red version gba rom download” replacing the game name with whatever other game you want to download. If your lucky you might end up finding some free library full of Gameboy games that you could download your fun from.
So anyways, that's my guide. Short and simple, hopefully it helps some people find out something they want!

Developed by Rare and published by Midway and Nintendo, Killer Instinct was originally released in arcades in October of 1994 before being ported to SNES and later Game Boy due to it's popularity in August and November of the following year respectively. The game itself was based heavily on the fighting games of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, encorporating features of both of the games as well as adding a few original ideas to the mix.
Set in a future in which the goverments have been replaced by megacorporations, Ultratech (who appear to specialize in military weaponry and the like) are organizing a tournament the likes of which have never been seen. Humans, mythical creatures, robots, aliens and genetically modified beasts alike are pitted against one another in a series of bloodthirsty one-on-one fights in order to see who has the strongest Killer Instinct. The tournament turns out to just be a ruse, of course, under which Ultratech can test their latest prototypes against living enemies.
The graphics for the arcade version had to be toned down in order for the less powerful SNES to handle them. Still, the graphics are top notch with all the character sprites pre-rendered in 3D and while some of the sparklier moves had to be toned down the finished product still looks surprisingly flashy and the once you've got the gameplay down you can unleash some mouth-wateringly nice looking combos. The stages and backgrounds are all well designed and vary nicely from the inside of a haunted mansion to the roof of a skyscraper with a futuristic-looking city skyline behind you. The sound is adequate but not spectacular. The electronica soundtrack from the arcade version has been nicely preserved but the sound effects have suffered, with there being only 3 or 4 different noises a character makes when they're hit which normally isn't that noticable but when racking up a 20-30 hit combo can end up sounding more than a little repetetive.
Killer Instinct is by no means easy to pick up, however fighting game veterans will no doubt find it a lot easier to get into that someone brand new to the genre. If you are playing Killer Insinct as your first foray into the world of beat-em-ups, you may well end up being put off for good, even on the lowest difficulty setting. However, practice makes perfect and you should eventually become at least good enough to pull of some respectable combos. Playing against human players of similar skill level in the 2 player mode will help with this, and contributes largely to the game's high replay value as the computer opponents tend to be considerably less lenient and will even 'cheat' if you are beating them too badly. Despite this, the game has global acclaim and I see it as one of the major contributors to the success of the beat-em-up genre on the whole.
For services to gaming, I hereby award it a noble 8/10.

There are plenty of good, quite recent products coming on the market every week. A few of these may be promising, worth an additional look. Some of these have distinguished themselves amongst their users, are increasingly being spoken well of around the forums , and they are growing rapidly in user acceptance. Among those that appear to be really good inside the product group of wii modchips, is one called wiikey fusion.
This product is obviously developed by team wiikey. What makes the wiikey fusion stand out from similar products allready available on the market? Well, it allows for a completely solderless, plug-and-play installation..
It supports loading games from SDHC, SD, and MicroSD cards.
Wiikey fusion is compatible with DMS, D2A, D2B, D2C, D2C-2, D2E, D3, D3-2 and D4 drive chipsets.
With wiikey fusion chip installed you can run Wii and Gamecube import and backup games.
And blunders regarding the setup? Well, the primary disadvantage for the wiikey fusion setup is most likely the registration process at wiikey.cn which is required to be able to download firmware for your modchip.
In conclusion, wiikey fusion has a really good product with a good amount of excellent features. It could be well worth spending the time it will require to have a closer look at it, maybe even try it out. Full details are available at the official site wiikey.cn
